Jocko is probably the most recognizable and beloved Monkey that Steiff has ever created. But the company also developed some other amazing primates, like the multicolored Mungo Monkey. And it is a joy when it appears as a hand puppet! Mungo's adorable expression, with deep blue eyes, is very eye-catching. And this puppet is very special not only because of its amusing look but also because it is in excellent condition with very nice colors! The nice airbrushing details make this character stand out even more. Mungo was finely handcrafted in Germany using the nicest mohair and dralon plush between 1968-78. It is complete with chest tag, button and yellow flag #6520/18. Its head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a plastic finger tube for movement. Take little Mungo with you for guaranteed joy, whether you are a puppet fan or a vintage toy collector!
