The iconic Jocko Chimpanzee is a favourite among collectors. But Steiff also created some other very interesting apes including this Gora, the sweetest Gorilla. And Gora is even more appealing as a hand puppet! Produced in Germany between 1961-64, this is a character not seen very often. Gora has amusing googly eyes and is made from dralon plush, a novelty at that time. The head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. It retains the trademark "button in ear" but is missing other IDs. Little Gora wants to be loved again and will be a very nice addition to any vintage toy collection!
- Condition: Used and pre-owned vintage puppet. With button. Missing yellow flag and chest tag. Some plush wear on the hands and face. Please determine the condition by yourself, taking a close look at all pictures and asking questions.
