Like all Steiff creations, this adorable vintage Rabbit hand puppet is to fall in love with. Its glass eyes and long ears give this character the endearing expression that only old toys do. And this puppet is even more special because it retains all its IDs! Little Bunny uses the finest mohair plush and was expertly handcrafted in Germany between 1959-67. The airbrushing work, with dark and golden hues, is remarkable. Rabbit's nose and mouth are hand-stitched and its neck is adorned with a silk bow. Its head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. This sweet little puppet is in excellent vintage condition. It seems gently played with. Just the chest tag and bow show some wear. Certainly a great addition to your vintage toy collection!
