Here's a handsome Gentleman hand puppet with the nicest expression. His wooden head is finely carved and beautifully hand painted. His hands and legs are also made of wood and hand painted. The body is made from flannel fabric with some lovely details. This puppet is a rare find from a small toy theater set. It was made in Germany circa early 1900s to fit children's hands. Gentleman hand puppet seems gently used and is in excellent condition, still with very nice colors! Only the fabric costume shows some age wear, particularly at the back. If you are a puppet fan or an antique collector, you will appreciate adding this cheerful old puppet to your collection!
