Steiff has created some of the most adorable plush toys and Loopy Wolf as a hand puppet is certainly one of them. This toy was finely handcrafted in Germany circa 1960s. It uses the nicest mohair plush with some very nice airbrushing accents applied to parts of its body. But what makes this character so distinct from other mid-century Steiff puppets is the eye-catching open mouth with prominent teeth. Its endearing glass eyes and felt tongue sticking out complete its charming vintage look. Its head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. Loopy is well preserved but it shows some age wear. Little wolf hand puppet can't wait to join your vintage Steiff collection!
