The Crocodile is one of the most iconic characters in a puppet show and Steiff wouldn't let its wide range of adorable hand puppets missing such a classic figure! Gaty is a really fun hand puppet and has an incredible stage presence. Its extra long mouth with felt teeth is very eye-catching. This puppet was finely handcrafted in Germany circa 1960-70s. It uses the nicest mohair plush with some equally remarkable airbrushing work. Gaty's head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. This puppet is well preserved but is missing Steiff IDs. Gaty can't wait to join your vintage toy collection.
