Collectors and cat lovers alike fall in love when a Steiff Tabby Cat appears as a hand puppet. And this Kitty's endearing expression with glass eyes and hand-stitched nose is adorable! Tabby puppet was finely handcrafted in Germany from 1959 to 1967. Steiff uses the nicest mohair plush and it is not a surprise that Kitty presents beautifully even after so many years. The striped airbrushing work on this puppet is also remarkable. Her head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. This puppet retains Steiff's trademark button in ear and is in overall good condition, but there is some damage on the top of its head. It appear that a sharp tool pushed down in one spot. Little Kitty can't wait to join your toy collection!
